I'm Specialized in propagated asexually, here's an explanation of the propagation methods:

  1. Seeds: Areca Palms produce small, round seeds within their fruit. These seeds can be collected from mature palms and sown in a suitable growing medium. It’s important to note that Areca Palm seeds have a hard outer shell that needs to be scarified or softened before planting to improve germination rates. Once planted, the seeds require consistent moisture, warmth, and indirect sunlight to sprout and develop into seedlings.

  2. Division of Offsets: Areca Palms often produce offsets or suckers around the base of mature plants. These offsets are essentially small, rooted shoots that can be carefully separated from the parent plant and replanted to grow into independent palms. The division process involves digging up the offset, ensuring it has a portion of the root system intact, and planting it in a suitable pot or location with well-draining soil. Proper care, including regular watering and protection from direct sunlight, helps the offset establish itself and grow into a mature Areca Palm
